Brendon Urie is currently singing his heart out on Broadway as Charlie in “Kinky Boots” and the singer recently confirmed that he’s been working on new music during his downtime in between shows.
Urie is a pretty creative guy, and Panic! At The Disco has always been theatrical. Entertainment Weekly recently asked him which Panic! At The Disco album he would like to turn into a musical, and even though he said he’d like to write something new, he also pitched an idea for “Death of a Bachelor.”
“Honestly, I would want to write some original stuff. That would be the dream, obviously, like what Cyndi did with Kinky Boots. It’s not fair because I’m always going to say the newest one [Laughs]: Death of a Bachelor, and make it like a Sinatra-type play, or like a kid who worships Sinatra or something.”
