Twenty One Pilots Win Award For Album Of The Year At The APMAs

There’s no denying that 2016 has been a huge year for Twenty One Pilots. The band has been touring non-stop and it seems that they’re only becoming more and more popular with each passing day as their singles are played on radio stations around the world.

Last night at the Alternative Press Music Awards the band reached another impressive milestone when they were revealed to be the winners of the 2016 Album of the Year award for “Blurryface.” Twenty One Pilots beat out other bands such as All Time Low, August Burns Red, Bring Me The Horizon, Sleeping With Sirens, Marilyn Manson and more to win the award.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, the band also won Artist of the Year.

Unfortunately the band wasn’t able to appear at the event to accept the award. They accepted the award via a video presentation and they posted the following on Twitter thanking their fans.

Congratulations to Twenty One Pilots.
