Fall Out Boy surprised fans earlier this year when they released “Young And Menace” and announced their new album “MANIA.”

The album is set to drop in 2018, and so far the band has released a few songs from the album that have been met with a mostly positive response.

Fall Out Boy have been in the game for a long time now, but they’re always trying to find ways to push the band forward, and during a recent appearance on the Rock Sound Podcast, Patrick Stump had nothing but positive things to say about the upcoming album.

“It’s a good record man! Look, you never know. People always say you know when you have a hit or you know when you don’t or whatever – that’s just nonsense, you never do… It’s kind of blind luck to a certain extent. All I know is – I really like it and I’m really excited about it and we are really excited about it.”

In regards to where the album sits in the Fall Out Boy catalog, Stump noted that all four band members feel it’s one of their best.

“I think all four of us have felt at various times on this record that it’s one of our best records, in a lot of ways, and I hope people feel it that way because it feels like that for us. Now it’s kind of this waiting game, I’m kinda impatient, I want it out now, I want people to hear it!”
