It’s been a few years since Paramore released their self-titled album, and since then the band has gone through some changes. They brought back drummer Zak Farro, and he was in the mix for the recording of their latest album.
Zak Farro recently spoke to The Line Of Best Fit about his project HalfNoise and he also opened up about what’s to come in the months ahead for Paramore. He revealed that the album is finished, and now the next step is for the band and their team to figure out the release date.
“It’s all finished. We’re just figuring out the logistics of when to release it and everything. With HalfNoise it’s just me and a couple of managers, and we work pretty closely, but Paramore is a worldwide known band. There’s a lot of chefs in the kitchen, and figuring all that stuff out… the goal is definitely to release it this year, but I can’t really touch base and even if we had a set day we were telling people, things change so much. But the record is finished.”
The good news is that since it’s March right now, that we means we could be seeing a new Paramore release sometime this summer or in the fall. If you’re a fan of Paramore then you’ll probably agree that the band has created some great summer music, so we’ll just have to wait and see what season this album falls into.
