There’s no denying that 2016 has been a great year for Green Day. They released their new album “Revolution Radio” and they returned to the road to melt faces with their hard hitting songs.
This week they added another accomplishment to their impressive resume as they performed on daytime TV for the first time. The trio stopped by Ellen to perform their songs “American Idiot” and “Still Breathing” and to no one’s surprise they knocked it out of the park.
According to Ellen she’s waited 14 years to get Green Day on her show, and on Tuesday it finally happened. So, on that note, congratulations to both Green Day and Ellen.
