Twenty One Pilots Changed The Words To Stressed Out And This Is What They Sound Like

Twenty One Pilots are one of the most popular bands on the planet right now and there’s no doubt that their hit song “Stressed Out” played a big part in making them successful. The song is a smash hit and it’s still being played constantly on radio stations around the country. But sometimes when songs get overplayed it can be a little hard to handle and that’s something Twenty One Pilots understands quite well.

During a recent show in Cleveland, OH Tyler Joseph decided to try some new words on for size and they fit pretty well. Instead of singing the normal lyrics he replaced them with some clever comments about the current status of “Stressed Out” and they went like this:

I wish I wrote a different song no one’s ever heard. I wish my mom would just admit she’s sick of every word. Overplayed, overstayed, it was a smash hit. Funny how overplayed songs sound like crap. I was told our true fans don’t like this song. But I hope they sing along. I hope they sing along.
