Last year Linkin Park lost their singer when Chester Bennington tragically took his own life, but Mike Shinoda later took to Twitter to say that the members of the group intend to carry on with the band.
I have every intention on continuing with LP, and the guys feel the same. We have a lot of rebuilding to do, and questions to answer, so it’ll take time. https://t.co/nXLxTSd40J

However, not much is known about where Linkin Park will go from here, and during an appearance on the iHeart Radio podcast Mike Shinoda said that there aren’t any answers at this point.
“I don’t know- that’s the million dollar question, right? And unfortunately, I’ve said it before, but there aren’t any answers to that at this point,” Shinoda said via Rock Sound. “It would be awesome if there were. That would be really easy.”
Shinoda went on to say that if Linkin Park were to get offered a show, everyone in the band would have to discuss the idea, and there would be some people who want to do it and some people who don’t.
He went on to say that right now for him it’s all about keeping things simple.
“All that noise, that is not something I can deal with right now, and it’s not a knock on anybody else. Anyone of us could be the outlier opinion, the minority voice on something, but I definitely need some more simplicity in terms of decision making.”
