The past few weeks have been extremely difficult for Linkin Park fans who are still trying to deal with the fact that singer Chester Bennington tragically took his own life. It goes without saying that the band is going through an extremely difficult time as well.
It’s unknown what the future holds for Linkin Park, and absolutely no one is rushing the band to make any sort of announcements regarding what’s next. However, earlier today Linkin Park released a statement saying that they will be holding a special public event to honor Chester’s memory in LA. The date for the event has yet to be set, but the statement reads as follows:
“Just want to say thank you to all our fans around the world for the tremendous outpouring of love, which ha strengthened our spirit during this incredibly difficult time. The five of us are so grateful for all of your support as we heal and build the future of Linkin Park. We are working on a special public event in Los Angeles to honor Chester’s memory, and look forward to sharing details with you soon.
