It’s been a busy year for Paramore as they released their album “After Laughter” a few months ago and they’ve been touring the world. But Hayley Williams still found the time to record a cover of “Nineteen” for the Tegan And Sara tribute album “The Con X: Covers.”
Hayley posted a video explaining why she chose to cover “Nineteen” for the album and she also thanked Tegan And Sara.
“I fell in love with the song ‘Nineteen’ because I think it helped me to say feelings I wasn’t sure how to verbalize. It still does that to this day. For anyone who’s a fan of Tegan And Sara or a fan of the song in particular, you have chosen well. These are great people to support and they make beautiful art, and I hope that my version of the song, I hope that you’re able to find something in it just as I was able to find something in the original.”
