If you’re a Green Day fan then you’re well aware of the fact that it’s just been too long since we’ve heard new music from one of the most iconic trios in rock and roll.
The band hasn’t released an album since 2012, but they surprised everyone this week when they announced that new music is on the way.
Green Day will be releasing a new song on August 11th and it will be titled “Bang, Bang.” BJ himself broke the news to the world via Twitter.

The band hasn’t announced whether or not a new album is on the way, but as you can see in the tweet above, Billie Joe would like us all to stay tuned for more details. I don’t know about all of you but I can’t wait to find out what the details are.
