Christina Grimmie was tragically murdered while signing autographs for fans in Orlando, FL and fans all over the world are mourning. Christina was beloved by her fans thanks to her wonderful voice and many of her fans know that Christina was also a big “Legend of Zelda” fan. She even used the name zeldaxlove64 on YouTube.
Nintendo is currently working on another entry in the “Legend of Zelda” series and it’s set to be released next year. Ahead of the release a fan named Ian Tan has started a petition on change.org in hopes of convincing Nintendo to name a character in the game after Christina Grimmie.
“Hopefully she is in a better place now, but whether a NPC or mentioned in an Easter egg, it would be a beautiful act to let her be memorialized in the universe she always cherished.” Ian wrote in the description.
